I’m excited to meet you!

Before anything else, I want to communicate that I value humanity, belonging, and relationships far above any trends or transactions. I care deeply for my people and value experiences that celebrate them, uplift them, and make them feel seen and loved. I believe the wedding industry can stray from genuine connection and meaningful moments. My job is to have your wedding experience be focused on your authentic, beautiful love for one another.

A little bit about me

I’m an avid reader, tv show binger, and chicken nugget enthusiast... gluten free that is.

Cliche or not, my wife is the best human I know. She is kind, gentle, funny, patient, and full of joy. Whether it’s a romantic partner, family member, or friend, everyone deserves a person like Cal in their life.

When I’m not baking pies at a local nonprofit, Try Pie, or working with couples on their wedding, you’ll find me getting a sweet treat with friends or playing games with our families.

My favorite words are efficient and organized. I’ll make any excuse to make a checklist.

    Your wedding will not be cut + paste from another wedding I have done. We will work together to create a celebration with moments genuine to who you are.

  • I believe a fundamental right of every human being is the right to love. To love who they want, to be loved for who they are, and to celebrate that love with their loved ones.

    Whether it’s the wording in a program, the flow of the wedding ceremony, or poses for photos, my goal is to have all couples feel like their wedding is an opportunity to express their right without compromise, without shrinking, and without softening the truth of who you are.

  • The day flies. Even with an early morning and late night, the day can speed along. My goal is to create intentional times through your day that can keep you present, make you laugh, and give you memories to last forever.

  • I believe the purpose of living this life is “being with” each other. Creating friendships, caring for your neighbor, building one another up, are all at the core of humanity. If you choose to spend one of the most precious seasons of your life with me, I want you to feel cared for, uplifted, and supported. This is not just a business for me.
